We've created a monster!!!

Cora absolutely loves the treadmill! Immediately when I get home from work she is "asking" me to put her on it. She will bark, run to the treadmill, bark, run back to me, bark, and so on! It's a riot! I like to get on the treadmill right when I get home which makes her mad. She was waiting all day for this! So she will sit next to me on the floor and mope till it is her turn. Once I am done, I will turn up the speed (yes, the dog can go faster than me.....don't judge....haha) and away she goes! I let her run for about 8-10 minutes (I get pretty bored just staring at her running, and I am too nervous to walk away and leave her alone on it - otherwise she could probably last 45 minutes to an hour). She reluctantly gets off the treadmill and comences moping around and barking at us. Pretty soon, she will be putting her paw on our laps and/or doing the whole barking thing till we can't take it anymore and put her on the treadmill again. Last night she got to go on it three seperate times. We watched her mope her way downstairs to the treadmill and sit on it - just hoping someone would notice and turn it on for her!! Cora is such a character! Now only if we could just teach her to turn it on herself, then life would be good! Just imagine her all day at home alone, working out on the treadmill watching soaps!! Ha!!
